Coffee Science Center - Ciência Viva Center

Located in the village of Campo Maior, the Coffee Science- Ciência Viva Center (CVC) is the third scientific dissemination space in the region of Alentejo to integrate the National Network of Ciência Viva Centers, which now counts with 22 Ciência Viva Centers. With a total area of 3 426 m2 ,the CVC is a versatile space that gathers scientific knowledge, interactive activities and training spaces, promoting a unique learning experience for visitors. Inspired by the coffee universe, the CVC brings together multiple areas of knowledge, from the plant cycle to the bean, through roasting and consumption models, and its missions to promote science and sustainability associated with coffee.
