O Centro de Ciência Júnior do Biocant Park, em Cantanhede, terá disponíveis atividades experimentais dirigidas a crianças e jovens com idades compreendidas entre os 6 e os 18 anos. As atividades são desenvolvidas de acordo com os seguintes grupos etários: 6-10 anos_ 11-14 anos e 15 - 18 anos. As atividades realizam-se de terça a quinta-feira. Cada sessão tem a duração de 2h30, num período do dia, manhã ou tarde.

ISSC, a MILSET(International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology) activity, bring together a group of young people -usually about 60- for a week to learn and discover science around a topic. This also allows the participants to learn about differentcultures and ideas and doing science linking theory with a practical approach. This year ISSC will be held by Associação Juvenil de Ciência (AJC) the scientific association of Portugal for youngsters and will take place in Aveiro between the 5th and the 13th August of 2012.The topic for this year is “Engineering of the future”.
